Salvation vs Religion

9/20/26: Today for our Back To Church celebration, we looked at the topic of "Salvation vs Religion." An all important subject as the waters have been muddied in a number of ways when it comes to God's clear directive as to how someone is to get from earth to heaven in the 21st century. Through RELIGION, we find man desperately reaching UP to God with all their "good deeds" in hope that He will be impressed & at their judgment, they will be granted entrance into His heaven. But when it comes to SALVATION, God in HIS goodness is reaching DOWN to mankind through the person of His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and offers us a home in His heaven through His amazing grace. REMEMBER: GRACE ... God's Riches At Christ's Expense. Don't be RELIGIOUS, be SAVED!!! Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Acts 16:31
