Gary Thomas wrote a book & the title alone speaks some sobering words: Sacred Marriage - What If God Designed Marriage to Make Us Holy More Than to Make Us Happy? Truth is, if we follow God's design for marriage, with both husbands & wives fulfilling their respective roles, we will be more holy & ultimately more happy!
